Winston Ardoin

Winston Ardoin joined the Lab as a Graduate Research Assistant in August 2024. Ardoin supports the Lab’s work on policing throughout North Carolina. He is currently a PhD student in Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research investigates the evolution of public security and criminal justice policies with a focus on Brazil, the United States, and other countries, adopting a comparative approach to highlight the global dimensions of these issues. He holds a master’s degree in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
